Sharron Cirillo:  PA; president of the Delaware State Board of Accountancy, member of NASBA and DAPA; manager of a specialty practice in Middletown focused on small businesses, forensic accounting and financial software systems:  This morning session, Ethics & Professional Conduct for Delaware CPAs, is designed to meet the specific ethics requirements for Delaware.  Look forward to an interesting discussion of current Delaware Code, acutal cases, and practical applications of the ever-changing ethical standards.  This session will satisfy 4 Delaware Specific Ethics credits and is approved by the Delaware State Board of Accountancy.

 

Frank A. Albero:  CPA; president of Albero & Albero; member of the Delaware Society of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs:  In his session, Refocusing On Reliability, Frank will provide insight into what he believes the accounting profession can do to improve its image by providing more reliable and informative financial presentations.  This session will focus on small businesses and will include information on the AICPA Reliability Task Force project.  He will provide an update on any recent accounting and auditing developments, as well as a brief look at what he sees on the horizon for the profession.  This topic will satisfy 1 Auditing and 3 Accounting CPE Credits.

 

Steven Bouchard, AAMS:  financial consultant with Wells Fargo, former teacher of investments and finance at the college graduate level.  Steve’s workshop, Business Retirement Plans, will explore the many facets of the Single K plan, turn-key safe harbor plans, SEP and SIMPLE Plans.  He will compare and contrast the benefits and limitations of each plan and offer you the opportunity to solve some real life retirement plan dilemmas.  If you routinely assist business clients in choosing a retirement plan, you won’t want to miss this session, which qualifies for 4 Tax CPE credits. 

 

Philip Reynolds:  CPA; member of AICPA & Delaware Society of CPAs;  10 years experience in public accounting & in business valuation:  Phil’s morning session, Fundamentals of Business Valuation, delves into the fundamental issues involved in setting values on small and mid size businesses.  He will present step-by-step numerical examples of how to go about deciphering what a business is really worth.  This morning session will satisfy 4 Accounting Credits.
